ADC Unveils New Initiatives, New Executive Staff

Fall River, MA – June 8, 2009 – American Dryer Corporation (“ADC”) announces new initiatives and a revamping of its executive-level staff, including the promotion of Joseph Bazzinotti (formerly Chief Operating Officer) to the position of President. All departments now report to Bazzinotti.

Bazzinotti, a four-year veteran of ADC, has reinvigorated ADC’s culture of customer-oriented decision-making, empowering managers across all departments to make changes that will positively impact ADC’s distributors and the product’s end users. Hejoefinal has broadened the focus of sales and marketing, adding staff including Tony Regan, the new Sr. VP of Global Sales & Marketing, who was brought on board to expand both domestic and international sales in order to grow ADC in the global market. Bazzinotti also implemented Six Sigma and ISO9000 initiatives, strengthening quality and lean manufacturing programs.

“ADC engineers continually introduce innovations that go beyond cutting-edge to propel the industry in new directions and expand the horizons of possibility. From the invention of the stack dryer to the first dryer with computerized controls, ADC has always been at the vanguard of the laundry industry and from that vantage point, we’ve been able to anticipate our customers’ needs,” said Bazzinotti. “This year we unveiled our newest line of energy-efficient dryers, the Dry EcoSmart line, and launched the first residual moisture control feature available in coin. We have overhauled our customer service department and expanded international sales. More innovations and improvements lie ahead for ADC.”

In the past year, ADC invested over a million dollars revamping customer service. With a new emphasis on technology, ADC is overhauling its amdry.com website and completely automating the parts ordering system with a new online portal. A new phone system and department restructuring have improved response time. Other improvements have allowed ADC to consistently ship almost all parts orders in 24 hours.

Today, with the help of Stonebridge partners, ADC is reviewing several acquisitions to broaden its position in the laundry industry. This project is being overseen by Dennis Slutsky, who remains the company’s CEO.
