Clean Clothes After Sandy
American Dryer Corporation is working to help Local Communities Provide Laundry Services
(Fall River, MA November 9, 2012) – In response to Super storm Sandy, American Dryer Corporation is working with their local equipment dealers to help businesses get their washers and dryers functioning as best as possible. The company is hoping to make an impact by sending a team of laundry service technicians to areas in dire need. ADC is dedicated to assisting laundries with the ability to operate and offer their community a place to clean clothes after Sandy.
ADC has also increased production and are building extra inventory to ensure their equipment and parts are readily available to accommodate their customers’ specific needs. For businesses that are ready to rebuild, ADC has established various programs with special pricing and financing, to help laundries resume business for the long term.
ADC is concerned for all of the distressed businesses and families without basic necessities like homes, heat, water or clean clothing. Together with Hercules Corporation, a Long Island based route operator, supplies will be distributed throughout the greater New York and New Jersey areas. ADC employees have come together in support by donating canned goods, toiletries, diapers, etc., for the shipment.
According to American Dryer Corporation CEO Joe Bazzinotti, “The devastation caused by Super storm Sandy goes beyond our industry and we felt a responsibility to those communities affected to take part in their recovery. Being in New England our extended families have been affected like so many others throughout the region. “
